Technologies and Solutions to Improve CBG Yields from Paddy Straw & Napier Grass - HelloCBG

While traditional feedstocks such as MSW, animal waste, and press mud yield about 3-4 tons of CBG per 100 tons of feedstock, agricultural residues and Napier grass are expected to yield significantly more, some estimates suggest 7-8 tons per 100 tons of feedstock. If these yields are validated and sustained, they could greatly enhance the economics of the entire CBG sector.

At the recently concluded HelloCBG webinar on Dec 20, Sai Hivarkar from Renergy Dynamics and Sankalp Pathak from GPS Renewables shared their expert insights on the validation and consistency of these higher yields, as well as the technologies and solutions necessary to make these yields sustainable and potentially even improve them.

The Q&A session was moderated by Narasimhan Santhanam

HelloCBG thanks Sai, & Sankalp for their participation and contribution.
