The big picture about CBG is of course the massive clean energy transformation in which natural gas is a key transition fuel.
For a country like India, renewable natural gas (that we call CBG) provides us with a sustainable source for a fuel with a low carbon footprint, and also decreases the country’s reliance on massive imports of natural gas.
Thus, there is a significant demand as India will be a significant gas economy.
But CBG still needs significant market development, be it enabling the most effective policies, accelerating the pace at which OMCs offtake the fuel, or the adoption by industrial users, so that investors are able to robust and reliable returns.
